FRC UK Decision regarding law and practice relating to ordinary audit work in Switzerland
On October 22, 2024, the UK Financial Reporting Council (FRC) made a positive decision regarding comparability of law and practice relating to ordinary audit work in Switzerland. Based on this decision, professional practice gained in Switzerland on and after this date can be recognized to fulfill the practical training requirements for a UK audit qualification.
In addition, the FRC published a podcast on the topic of «Mutual Recognition Agreements» on 11 December 2024, which also discusses the above mentioned Decision.
