On 10 December 2025, the FAOA and FINMA signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and the exchange of information in the context of financial market supervision. It replaces the previous exchange of letters from 2015 and, in particular, clarifies the exchange of information regarding higher-risk financial institutions as well as the procedures to be followed in the event of a crisis.
